Mid-level Java/Kotlin Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create and sustain backend applications utilizing Kotlin and Java with the Spring Framework.

• Design and implement REST and GraphQL APIs to facilitate system integrations.

• Maintain code quality through comprehensive unit and integration testing.

• Participate in the design and architecture of microservices and distributed systems.

• Leverage Cloud Computing platforms like AWS or Azure for deploying and maintaining services.

• Integrate systems using Apache Kafka and the gRPC communication protocol.

• Proactively analyze and resolve technical challenges in a collaborative manner.

• Collaborate effectively within a team, fostering communication and adaptability in dynamic settings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• Demonstrated experience in backend development using Kotlin, Java, and the Spring Framework.

• Familiarity with relational databases (SQL) as well as NoSQL databases (MongoDB).

• Understanding of microservices architecture, SOA, and distributed systems.

• Experience with Cloud Computing (AWS, Azure) and messaging tools like Apache Kafka.

• Competence in unit and integration testing methodologies.

• Solid grasp of SOLID principles, Clean Code, and Clean Architecture.

• Relevant technology certifications and participation in industry events or conferences are advantageous.

• Behavioral skills such as teamwork, effective communication, proactivity, problem-solving, and adaptability.
