Mid-level Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create and manage applications utilizing Java EE / Jakarta EE

• Design web interfaces with JSF and Facelets

• Develop and sustain entities, relationships, and queries leveraging JPA and Hibernate

• Implement business logic using EJB and/or CDI

• Engage in layered application architecture encompassing presentation, business, and persistence layers

• Construct facades, services, DAOs, and reusable components

• Execute CRUD operations and facilitate database integrations

• Configure, package, and deploy applications on JBoss WildFly

• Utilize Maven for managing dependencies and build processes

• Collaborate with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript within JSF applications

• Create and run unit tests using JUnit

• Conduct DAO testing and validate ORM mappings

• Employ Git and GitLab for version control management

• Adhere to programming best practices, object-oriented principles, and code quality standards

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related discipline

• Professional experience with Java EE / Jakarta EE

• In-depth understanding of JSF, Facelets, JPA, and Hibernate

• Familiarity with EJB and/or CDI

• Knowledge of layered architecture and principles of object-oriented design

• Experience with JBoss WildFly

• Proficiency in Maven, Git, and GitLab

• Experience with JUnit and unit testing

• Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

• Plus: experience with large-scale systems

• Plus: knowledge of software architecture and best development practices

• Plus: experience in optimizing queries and application performance

• Plus: familiarity with CI/CD processes

• Plus: knowledge of Linux environments

• Plus: experience in developing and supporting production applications
