Mid-Level Information Security Analyst, MSS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee security events on SIEM platforms and manage alerts

• Assist in security incident response efforts

• Create technical reports and conduct incident analyses

• Administer and operate Microsoft 365 Defender, which includes Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Identity, Defender for Office 365, Defender for Cloud Apps, and Defender XDR

• Manage Cisco and Fortigate firewalls, Netskope Proxy, and WAFs

• Investigate security alerts produced by EDRs

• Handle tickets in ITSM tools like ServiceNow and GLPI

• Develop and review Information Security controls, policies, standards, and procedures

• Maintain up-to-date technical documentation and document operational evidence

• Engage in technical meetings with clients, suggest enhancements, and support process improvements

• Assist Security and Infrastructure teams in feature and process implementation

• Revise security checklists and the knowledge base

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Security, or a related field

• Proven experience in Information Security

• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 Defender, Microsoft Identity/Entra ID, MFA, Conditional Access, Netskope Proxy, Cisco, Fortigate, and Palo Alto firewalls, network protocols, and NIST/ISO 27001/CIS Controls frameworks, as well as security in Azure/AWS/GCP

• Intermediate understanding of EDR/XDR, Azure Sentinel, IBM QRadar, Linux, ITSM tools, DLP, Zero Trust, PowerShell, and Python

• Experience in SOC environments, incident management, and security event management

• Fluent in Portuguese

• Intermediate proficiency in English for reading technical documentation and participating in meetings

• Intermediate Spanish for conversational purposes
