Mid-Level Full-Stack Software Engineer, Data & Migrations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Break down intricate data and business challenges into specifications that are clear enough for AI agents to execute directly and effectively.

• Create and oversee a reliable migration pipeline that integrates outdated mirrored Oracle schemas into a contemporary, singular PostgreSQL schema.

• Establish thorough automated reconciliation systems (checksums, financial control totals, and row counts) to furnish government acceptance evidence.

• Perform "legacy archaeology" by analyzing hundreds of thousands of lines of PL/SQL packages and triggers to extract and document essential business rules.

• Design transactional schemas using Prisma and create Change Data Capture (CDC) workflows targeting dedicated analytics repositories.

• Develop complete vertical slices of capability, including React-based administrative UIs for data quality reports and Node.js API endpoints.

• Set the technical standard for data integrity, employing golden-master behavioral checks to ensure migrated cases still price and process identically to legacy systems.

• Uphold a stringent human-review process for all agent-generated code to guarantee adherence to federal financial standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible for a U.S. SECRET clearance.

• Over 3 years of experience in building and operating production data systems.

• Practical experience with agentic AI development tools (Claude Code, Codex, or similar) on real-world codebases.

• Strong history with relational data systems, including schema design, migration, and performance optimization.

• Ability to read and interpret PL/SQL and legacy database logic.

• Professional proficiency in the modern web technology stack: TypeScript, Node.js, and React.

• Proven experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS) and CI/CD principles.
