Mid-Level Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Assist in the secure provisioning and oversight of cloud environments.

• Design, create, and sustain applications utilizing contemporary software development methodologies.

• Participate in the execution of CI/CD pipelines, ensuring efficient integration, testing, and deployment of code.

• Work alongside DevSecOps, QA, and Cloud Engineering teams to facilitate end-to-end delivery.

• Create and manage APIs, services, and backend components.

• Engage in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and reviews.

• Ensure code adheres to security, performance, and quality benchmarks.

• Aid in automated testing and validation within the DevSecOps pipeline.

• Diagnose and resolve defects, performance concerns, and integration obstacles.

• Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing to enhance team onboarding and system comprehension.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen.

• Must be eligible to obtain a Tier-3 Secret Clearance.

• 5–7 years of experience in software development and DevOps, particularly with automated pipelines.

• Experience in DevSecOps settings, encompassing CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and cloud platforms.

• Practical experience with Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code tools.

• Proficiency in Java or similar object-oriented programming languages.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps methodologies.

• Understanding of API development and integration patterns.

• Familiarity with cloud-based environments, such as AWS or comparable platforms.

• Preferred: experience working with Agile development teams of 20+ FTEs and knowledge of Agile methodologies.

• Preferred: experience in secure or regulated environments, such as federal or enterprise systems.

• Preferred: familiarity with cloud-based DevSecOps environments.

• Preferred: knowledge of Oracle or relational databases.

• Preferred: exposure to automated testing frameworks and tools.

• Preferred: experience with containerization and microservices architectures.
