Mid-Level Dev Ops Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Administer and oversee the Microsoft 365 environment, encompassing user management, group configurations, enterprise applications, licensing, single sign-on (SSO), and SCIM provisioning.

• Manage identity and access management processes effectively.

• Provide continuous operational support within the M365 ecosystem.

• Ensure the implementation of security measures, compliance standards, and best practices.

• Support and enhance AWS-based infrastructure and services.

• Drive improvements in operational efficiency for an AWS-based AI platform.

• Maintain CI/CD processes and repository environments.

• Assist in monitoring system performance, reliability, and automation initiatives.

• Facilitate the migration of Bitwarden from a self-hosted solution to a SaaS model.

• Lead the transition from Mattermost to Microsoft Teams.

• Manage the shift from Maxotel to Microsoft Teams Phone.

• Migrate GitLab repositories to Bitbucket.

• Perform configuration cleanup and optimization for Nginx and WordPress environments.

• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and technical teams.

• Provide regular reports and updates regarding projects and operational enhancements.

• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and process records.

⛳️ Requirements

• Approximately 5+ years of experience in the role of a DevOps Engineer.

• Proficient in Microsoft 365 systems administration, including users, groups, SSO, SCIM, enterprise applications, and licensing.

• Practical hands-on experience with AWS.

• Exceptional troubleshooting and systems optimization skills.

• Capability to work independently while also being an effective team collaborator.

• Self-motivated, proactive, and a quick learner.

• Preferred / Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with platforms similar to Maxotel and Bitwarden.

• Experience with the Atlassian suite (JIRA, JSM, Confluence, Bitbucket).

• Knowledge of VoIP and MS Teams Phone environments.

• Experience supporting Nginx and WordPress environments.

• Exposure to SaaS migration and cloud consolidation projects.

• Have read “The Phoenix Project” by Gene Kim.
