This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Create statistical models for all business segments of BIP Brazil, from the initial data processing to the technical documentation of the solution.
• Construct predictive and machine learning models.
• Design analytics and BI solutions to ensure optimal outcomes and experiences for clients.
• Maintain direct communication with the business consulting team to comprehend challenges and explore potential solutions.
• Develop models utilizing various statistical methodologies and programming languages.
• Propose innovative approaches, techniques, or technologies to enhance the data science practice and deliver value to users and clients.
• A bachelor’s degree is required; candidates from all fields of study are encouraged to apply.
• Prior experience in statistical modeling is essential.
• Familiarity with the modeling process, including coding for database manipulation, variable selection, processing, and analysis, alongside discussions with business teams.
• Proficiency in SAS, R, or Python, particularly in developing macros and functions.
• Previous experience with credit risk models, including scorecards, PD, EAD, and LGD.
• Knowledge of more than one programming language is preferred.
• Experience with BI software is preferred.
• Familiarity with projects utilizing AWS, GCP, or Microsoft technologies is preferred.
• Experience in an Agile environment is preferred.
