Mid-Level Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Leverage cloud technology to integrate data from multiple sources, both cloud-based and on-premises, according to project requirements.

• Conduct data cleansing and standardization processes.

• Load data into a cloud data warehouse as required by various projects.

• Utilize enterprise ETL tools to create, modify, and enhance integration pipelines.

• Convert business requirements into data warehouse pipelines using ETL/ELT methodologies.

• Extract and load data from numerous disparate systems into a centralized data warehouse.

• Assist in the preparation and loading of data for analysis and business intelligence reports and dashboards.

• Identify potential opportunities for new data sources.

• Collaborate with analysts to develop innovative solutions to data-related challenges.

• Import and integrate new data sources based on business needs.

• Proactively identify potential data issues while being responsive to unforeseen challenges.

• Enhance existing processes to optimize efficiency.

• Manage multiple projects and adhere to deadlines.

• Monitor, schedule, and maintain current integrations.

• Undertake special projects and assignments as business needs arise.

• Responsible for the maintenance, creation, and control of all personally identifiable information or any other information protected by confidentiality or privacy standards or company policies that you have access to or knowledge of, including but not limited to state or federal regulations such as HIPAA.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

• 2-3 years of experience working with data using SQL or similar technologies.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Familiarity with data integration platforms, such as Snaplogic, SSIS, or Informatica.

• Knowledge of business intelligence visualization tools, such as Tableau.

• Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.

• Strong communication skills adaptable to various levels of technical expertise.

• Must have a keen attention to detail and maintain focused concentration.

• Capable of learning new tasks and completing them independently.

• Must be able to make timely decisions within the context of the workflow.

• Possess strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, and responsiveness.

• Must be able to accomplish tasks that require a certain speed or productivity quota.
