Mid-level Cloud Engineer, DevOps

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Serve as a pivotal player in transitioning workloads to Kubernetes (EKS)

• Standardize APIs that are currently operational on OKE for the AWS architecture

• Ensure adherence to compliance and best practices in multi-account settings utilizing AWS Landing Zone Accelerator (LZA) and AWS Organizations

• Implement and oversee a centralized authentication system (SSO) integrated with AWS

• Provision and manage resources through Terraform

• Develop and sustain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in managing AWS services (EKS, CloudFront, RDS Aurora, Lambda, Secrets Manager, ElastiCache, Cognito, SES)

• Expertise in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning

• Practical experience with Kubernetes (EKS and/or OKE), encompassing workload migrations and troubleshooting

• Understanding of cloud networking and security (WAF, ELB, Auto Scaling, IAM, Security Groups)

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, preferably GitHub Actions

• Capability to perform complex troubleshooting and optimize cost/performance

• Previous experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)

• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect or SysOps)

• Knowledge of FinOps strategies for managing cloud expenses
