Mid-level Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Conduct client intake and provide services to the firm's clients across a variety of legal issues.

• Review documents and prepare legal pleadings and submissions.

• Assist in negotiations and formulate strategies to enhance case outcomes while minimizing risks.

• Ensure adherence to legal standards, contributing to target achievement and legal certainty.

• Serve as a negotiator and conflict resolver, aiming for clear and efficient solutions.

• Engage in various phases of judicial proceedings, from contract analysis and drafting to client representation in judicial and administrative forums.

• Organize and manage legal advisory functions, ensuring compliance with commercial transactions, contractual agreements, and privacy regulations.

• Oversee and track the portfolio of judicial and administrative cases for clients.

• Direct the review and preparation of legal filings and documents.

• Generate procedural and contingency reports utilizing the firm's case management system.

• Draft and execute legal instruments of varying levels of complexity.

• Evaluate risks, conduct legal assessments, and suggest legal alternatives to support the firm's goals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Law degree (LL.B. or equivalent) is required.

• Must have active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).

• Postgraduate studies in civil procedure, labor procedure, or labor law are an advantage.

• Specialization in Corporate Law, Contract Law, or Civil Law is preferred.

• At least 6 months of experience in law firms or corporate legal departments is necessary.

• Advanced understanding of Civil Law and Civil Procedure.

• Experience in drafting legal pleadings and conducting contract reviews.

• Strong negotiation and dispute resolution capabilities.

• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Familiarity with legal research, legal writing, drafting pleadings, case management, negotiation, and professional ethics.
