This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Negotiate, draft, and evaluate customer Master Service Agreements (MSAs).
• Maintain and revise corporate contract templates, including MSAs, NDAs, BAAs, independent contractor agreements, and restrictive covenant templates.
• Review, draft, and negotiate vendor agreements.
• Oversee ad hoc legal projects involving internal stakeholders and external entities.
• Manage and resolve disputes related to customer contracts in collaboration with internal teams, external counsel, and clients.
• Provide legal advice on employee-related issues, including employment contracts, disputes, terminations, and compliance with labor laws.
• Cultivate relationships with external law firms and supervise the provision of timely, cost-effective, and high-quality legal services.
• Collaborate on corporate policies, such as the employee handbook, remote work policies, and workplace regulations.
• Ensure that policies are up-to-date, legally compliant, and effectively communicated to employees.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law institution.
• 3–7 years of experience as a corporate attorney.
• Preferred experience in a corporate in-house legal department or a corporate law firm.
• Proven experience utilizing AI-powered legal technology for contract drafting, evaluation, and legal research.
• Sound judgment in verifying AI-generated outputs while ensuring client confidentiality.
• Excellent skills in contract negotiation and drafting.
• Familiarity with employment law, vendor agreements, and corporate governance.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Capacity to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Experience in managing external law firms and vendors.
• Must hold a valid attorney license in Maryland.
• Preferred experience in the technology or cybersecurity sectors.
• Familiarity with data privacy and security regulations is preferred.
• Experience in handling corporate compliance and regulatory issues is preferred.
