Mid GCP DevOps

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tunisia.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and oversee cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform, encompassing Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, and networking services.

• Create and sustain Infrastructure as Code solutions utilizing Terraform.

• Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines through Cloud Build and various automation tools.

• Execute containerization strategies with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Monitor, diagnose, and resolve performance issues related to infrastructure and applications.

• Set up and uphold logging, monitoring, and alerting systems.

• Work in collaboration with development teams to improve deployment strategies and the utilization of cloud resources.

• Apply security best practices and compliance standards throughout cloud infrastructure and deployment workflows.

• Document configuration of infrastructure, processes, and runbooks.

• Engage in an on-call rotation for incident response and resolution.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or systems administration roles.

• Advanced knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and architecture.

• Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code tools, especially Terraform.

• Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Proven track record in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows.

• Comprehensive understanding of Linux/Unix system administration and command-line tools.

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions, such as Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus, or the ELK stack.

• Awareness of cloud security best practices, identity management, and compliance frameworks.

• Strong analytical skills for resolving complex technical issues.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities for working across functions.

• Experience with Git.

• Knowledge of Python, Bash, or Go is beneficial.

• Preferred: experience in multi-cloud environments or hybrid cloud architectures.

• Preferred: understanding of DevOps methodologies and agile practices.

• Preferred: relevant cloud certifications, such as Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Data Engineer.
