This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Master SHI’s value proposition to consistently surpass revenue and profit objectives while developing impactful sales strategies and pricing proposals.
• Build and nurture relationships with existing clients while establishing new connections through targeted sales techniques, including cold calling, meetings, and networking.
• Identify and create opportunities within the sales pipeline to meet sales objectives, expand business with current customers, and acquire new clients through focused sales strategies.
• Collaborate with sales management to pinpoint and manage sales opportunities, striving to meet or exceed quarterly and annual goals.
• Establish proactive partnerships with internal SHI support teams and external industry partners to drive business and sustain joint selling initiatives.
• Understand customers' business goals, IT priorities, and initiatives to deliver customized solutions.
• Position and effectively articulate SHI’s range of products, solutions, services, and capabilities to customers and partners.
• Stay informed about SHI’s industry competition and effectively showcase our offerings to defend SHI’s value in securing new business.
• Promote successful cross-departmental relationships and engage with extended SHI support teams to identify new business opportunities and utilize support resources.
• Enhance market awareness of SHI by participating in local and regional industry events, organizations, and affiliations.
• Continuously seek self-education to remain current on industry trends, products, and market dynamics.
• A completed Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience is required.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of proven sales experience is essential.
• At least 50% of the time should be spent outside of an office environment meeting with current and prospective customers.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations within a designated territory.
• Travel to SHI, Partner, and Customer Events is expected.
• Must currently hold or have the capability to obtain required sales and/or technical certifications within the first 90 days of employment.
