Microsoft 365 Software Engineer, SharePoint Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Design and develop business applications utilizing SharePoint Online, SharePoint Framework (SPFx), React, and TypeScript.

• Create user-friendly web parts, extensions, and custom solutions within Microsoft 365 environments.

• Integrate Microsoft 365 services through Microsoft Graph, REST APIs, Entra ID, and Azure services.

• Ensure that applications are scalable, maintainable, secure, and compliant with engineering standards and best practices.

• Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, and architects to convert business requirements into technical solutions.

• Share expertise within the Microsoft 365 community.

• Mentor fellow team members.

• Investigate emerging technologies such as Microsoft Copilot and AI-driven development tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in developing solutions with SharePoint Online and SharePoint Framework (SPFx).

• Proficient in both German and English languages, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Solid understanding of React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

• Experience in integrating Microsoft 365 services via Microsoft Graph API and SharePoint REST APIs.

• Knowledge of SharePoint architecture, permissions, governance, and information architecture.

• Familiarity with Azure services such as Azure Functions, Storage, Key Vault, or API Management.

• Understanding of Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile delivery methodologies.

• Experience working directly with customers and stakeholders.

• Strong communication and consulting abilities.

• Regular use of AI tools to enhance productivity, automate repetitive tasks, support decision-making, and deliver superior outcomes.

• Ability to utilize AI tools responsibly by crafting effective prompts, critically assessing outputs, understanding limitations, and taking ownership of the final results.

• Nice to have: Experience with Azure Logic Apps.

• Nice to have: Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code concepts.

• Nice to have: Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Copilot extensibility and Agents.

• Nice to have: Relevant Microsoft certifications such as MS-600, MS-900, AZ-204, or PL-900.
