Methodologist, Accounting Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Involvement in projects concerning the implementation or support of accounting/ERP systems;

• Evaluation of existing processes, modification or creation of new methodologies;

• Assessment of new products and processes, formulation of logic and methodology for their representation in accounting systems;

• Engagement with stakeholders and collaboration across teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in economics, finance, or accounting.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in methodology, consulting, or auditing.

• Preference for experience at the crossroads of methodology, analytics, and IT systems.

• Desirable practical experience in preparing IFRS financial statements, including: transformation, consolidation, and preparation of reports and disclosures.

• Comprehension of business processes and the capability to articulate them for accounting and automation objectives.

• Experience in analyzing and documenting comprehensive business processes, including translating requirements between systems.

• Strong communication skills with IT teams, business units, and contractors; ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.

• Meticulous attention to detail, systems thinking, and a readiness to delve into system configurations and logic.

• Familiarity with accounting systems (1C, 1C ERP, Oracle, or similar).
