Merchants Strategy Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• You will be responsible for developing and expanding Coverflex’s merchant and partnerships strategy, unlocking new distribution channels and maximizing the value derived from every euro spent on the platform.

• Your goal is to increase spending through Coverflex and extract greater value from that expenditure, transforming merchants and partnerships into a sustainable growth and monetization engine.

• Your success will be measured by achieving the following within 90 days:

• Secured and initiated strategic distribution partnerships.

• Created a comprehensive strategy and roadmap to monetize merchant spending.

• Fostered strong cross-functional collaboration to implement partnerships.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Strategy, Partnerships, or Corporate Development.

• Demonstrated success in sourcing, structuring, negotiating, and finalizing partnerships from start to finish.

• Strong capability in designing commercial models (revenue-sharing, commissions, incentives).

• Strategic operator: proficient in translating strategy into actionable plans and measurable KPIs.

• Experience in cross-functional collaboration with Product, Marketing, and Sales teams.

• Proven experience in launching partnerships post-signature (enablement, go-to-market, optimization).

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (able to prepare executive-ready materials).

• Proficient in English.
