Merchant Accounts & Payments Operations Coordinator – Part Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the establishment of new merchant accounts with payment providers like PayPal, Nuvei, and various other processors.

• Act as the main US-based point of contact throughout the merchant account application, onboarding, underwriting, and verification stages.

• Aid in the identity verification and compliance documentation needed by payment providers.

• Interact with payment processors to address onboarding inquiries and operational requests.

• Track the progress of merchant account applications and follow up when additional information is necessary.

• Support the maintenance of existing merchant accounts by addressing routine administrative and compliance inquiries.

• Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure payment operations remain efficient and uninterrupted.

• Keep precise records of merchant accounts and onboarding activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside in the United States and possess authorization to work in the US.

• Previous experience with payment processors, merchant accounts, fintech, banking, e-commerce, or payments operations is highly preferred.

• Strong organizational abilities and keen attention to detail.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Comfortable engaging with payment providers and handling administrative processes.

• Capable of working independently and managing multiple ongoing tasks.

• Clean background check is required.

• Availability during US business hours.

• Part-time commitment of 5–10 hours per week.
