This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee all facets of regional merchandising for the lifestyle product category in North America.
• Spearhead line adoption and assortment planning tailored to each channel, along with channel- and category-specific consumer insights.
• Represent the sales and market viewpoint during product creation milestone meetings.
• Collaborate with the Marketing team on catalog development and go-to-market strategies.
• Identify and curate lifestyle product assortments relevant to the North American market.
• Order sales samples and assist in establishing initial forecasts based on channel performance.
• Drive channel-specific collections and segmentation strategies, targeting Tier 2 Athletic Specialty, Tier 0/1 Independents, and department stores.
• Gather and consolidate feedback from the North American sales team during product milestone meetings.
• Build a global network of stakeholders, including buyers, retailers, and sales professionals, to collect insights and pinpoint opportunities.
• Serve as the expert on market competition.
• Lead the pre-lining process with key accounts.
• Support sell-in efforts, compile feedback, report findings to the product management team, and pinpoint SMU opportunities.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the manager.
• A bachelor's degree is required; an MBA is preferred or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 10 years of experience in lifestyle footwear retail, sales, or merchandising.
• Minimum of 6 years of managerial experience.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
• Familiarity with the athletic specialty, independent lifestyle, and sporting goods sectors.
• Understanding of technology, product assortments, materials, trends, and the broader marketplace.
• Comprehensive product knowledge and insights into regional markets and competitors.
• Strong business acumen coupled with merchandising and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and exceptional follow-through.
• Superior communication abilities and the capacity to foster effective cross-functional relationships.
• Proficiency in retail mathematics.
• Capability to work under remote conditions.
• Some travel may be necessary.
