Mental Health Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Full autonomy to develop and expand the Minute Clinic practice without the complexities of payor contracting, credentialing, and billing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Current, active, and unrestricted State License as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• Demonstrated exceptional diagnostic, care collaboration, treatment planning, and short-term counseling skills, utilizing evidence-based methodologies including but not limited to motivational interviewing, problem-solving therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy.

• Proven strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities.

• Experience with or willingness to learn and adapt to virtual therapy delivery methods.

• Established understanding of the psychosocial aspects of health and illness.

• Comfortable with technology and proficient in using electronic health record systems and engaging across multiple platforms.

• Knowledge of insurance, Medicaid, and Medicare billing requirements.

• Proven strong crisis intervention skills.

• Prior experience in a mental health clinic or hospital environment.

• Master's degree from an accredited College or University completed.
