Mental Health Nurse – Psychology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Collaborating with patients and the multidisciplinary team to develop psychiatric intervention plans.

• Fostering relationships with patients and their families to comprehend their holistic needs while ensuring trust is maintained.

• Delivering evidence-based individual therapy, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, for conditions like depression and anxiety.

• Administering medications as necessary.

• Monitoring patients' adherence to any non-medical treatment plans established.

• Creating a safe and supportive environment for both patients and their families.

• Upholding strict confidentiality at all times.

• Participating in training to enhance professional knowledge.

• Collecting and documenting data on patient behavior and health journeys, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed.

• Eliminating potentially harmful and triggering elements from the environment for patients.

• Assisting patients in managing their emotions, including the use of de-escalation techniques.

• Collaborating, communicating, and aiding in the training of clients, patients, parents, and staff.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in mental health/behavioral health or an equivalent qualification, with 5 years of post-qualification experience.

• Current licensure as a mental health nurse or an equivalent credential.

• Exceptional communication skills.

• Strong IT skills, including proficiency in electronic medical records systems.

• Fluency in both English and Ukrainian.

• Capability to operate calmly and effectively in high-stress work environments.

• Ability to function within a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with both clinical and non-clinical personnel.
