This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Oversee and assess Medicaid mental health documentation, particularly focusing on TRP (Therapeutic Rehabilitation Program) requirements.
• Ensure the completeness and compliance of documentation, identifying any missing or incorrect information.
• Manage follow-up and resolution of denied claims.
• Conduct insurance verification and eligibility assessments, primarily for Medicaid.
• Assist with medical billing and revenue cycle management, with the potential to assume full billing responsibilities.
• Process prior authorization requests as necessary.
• Maintain and update patient records in the EHR system (Tebra), including ensuring treatment plans are revised every three months.
• Provide general administrative support to the practice.
• Collaborate with providers to ensure documentation meets Medicaid standards.
• Demonstrated experience with Medicaid mental health documentation (essential).
• Strong grasp of TRP (Therapeutic Rehabilitation Program) documentation and compliance standards.
• Experience in managing denied claims and follow-up procedures.
• Background in healthcare administration, medical billing, or behavioral health support.
• Keen attention to detail and the ability to identify gaps in documentation.
• Highly dependable, self-driven, and capable of working independently.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Must be proficient in clear spoken and written English.
• Relevant work experience is required.
• Ability to provide an NBI clearance and/or Local Police Clearance background check prior to onboarding [mandatory].
• Must be available for video meetings with the camera on when necessary.
