Mental Health Licensed Therapist, 1099 Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Deliver exceptional and innovative tele-therapy services to Headspace patients using a HIPAA compliant video conferencing platform.

• Complete, sign, and finalize clinical case notes in the EMR system within 48 hours of each session as part of the reimbursement process.

• Maintain a personalized database to track proof of licensure, license updates, expiration dates, personal details, and more.

• Keep your availability calendar updated.

• Collaborate with a care team that includes health coaches, fellow therapists, psychiatrists, and external care providers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in providing clinical psychotherapy to individuals, couples, or families.

• An independent clinical license to practice in good standing (without the need for clinical supervision) at the Master or Doctoral level.

• Ability to offer a minimum of 10 sessions per week for bookings, with the flexibility to adjust as necessary.

• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is preferred.

• Clinical proficiency in evidence-based practices (such as CBT, DBT, ACT, Mindfulness, etc.) and measurement-based care.

• Experience in risk management and handling higher acuity cases.

• Knowledge, ability, and dedication to providing culturally responsive care.

• Comfort and confidence with care delivery technologies, including various applications, tech tools, Google web apps, video conferencing, and EMR systems.

• A secure location with a reliable internet connection to facilitate Zoom-based psychotherapy.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary teams.
