Mental Health Group Facilitator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Fulfill all onboarding requirements within two weeks from the start date.

• Schedule and conduct monthly check-ins with your designated Charlie Health Group Quality Supervisor or Group Quality Director.

• Ensure timely responses to all email and Slack communications, within 48 hours of receipt.

• Familiarize yourself with the curriculum relevant to your group assignment before the group session begins.

• Arrive approximately 10 minutes prior to scheduled group sessions and facilitate the entire hour.

• Lead groups in accordance with Charlie Health's best practices, utilizing the most current curriculum provided.

• Conduct sessions across various age groups and cohorts, including Integrative curriculum, Support Staffing, and Wellness Hour as required.

• Promote client engagement and foster group unity throughout the session, encouraging participation and cultivating a camera-on culture.

• Adhere to all operational policies and procedures as outlined by Charlie Health best practices.

• Engage in collaborative Treatment Team meetings (Tuesdays) and Group Supervision (every other Friday) with your assigned Charlie Health Group Quality Supervisor or Group Quality Director, peers, and other members of the Clinical Leadership team.

• Work collaboratively and respectfully with the care team, including Primary Therapists, Care Experience Specialists, and Care Coaches.

• Communicate clearly, professionally, and promptly with clients, staff, families, agencies, and referrers.

• Ensure that your treatment documentation is completed within the required 24-hour timeframe and meets agency and professional standards as per DHCS and The Joint Commission.

• Uphold and exemplify professional ethics, maintaining appropriate boundaries and confidentiality.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Availability during late afternoons and evenings on weekdays (3-8pm MT from Monday to Thursday) and on Saturdays to accommodate the schedules of adolescent and young adult clients.

• A Master’s degree in mental health or a related field is required (see below for a comprehensive list).

• Experience working with youth and young adults.

• Proficient in a variety of therapeutic modalities and confident in integrating them into your treatment approach (DBT, CBT, EMDR, and MI certification are advantageous).

• Enthusiastic about the advantages of group treatment and skilled in its facilitation.

• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.

• Creative and engaging, particularly in virtual settings!

• Technical aptitude to conduct effective telehealth sessions.

• A reliable WIFI connection for client meetings.

• Familiarity with and willingness to use cloud-based communication tools—Gmail, Slack, Zoom, Dropbox—alongside EMR and outcomes survey software on a daily basis.

• This is a part-time 1099 role.
