This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Accurately and promptly handle enrollment additions, updates, changes, reinstatements, terminations, and cancellations.
• Manage renewals and premium billing processes.
• Receive, investigate, and respond to incoming communications via calls, emails, and other channels.
• Provide assistance to employer groups, 834 vendors, brokers/consultants, Customer Service, Claims, Account Management, and Sales teams.
• Verify enrollment/membership status, records, inquiries, concerns, and database requests.
• Support high-volume annual Open Enrollment activities.
• Create and distribute membership-related documents, such as ID cards and certificates of coverage.
• Maintain communication with both internal and external customers.
• Offer clerical and technical support for enrolling members, membership vendors, brokers, consultants, and employer groups.
• Deliver customer service and guidance to both internal and external customers.
• Stay informed and meet divisional production, quality, and reliability standards.
• Execute other assigned responsibilities.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of college coursework (48 semester hours) or equivalent certification focused on general business, health plan administration, or medical-related fields.
• Alternatively, at least one (1) year of relevant office experience, such as claims administration, medical office work, or health insurance.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
