This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Oversees incoming calls and/or virtual teller interactions.
• Addresses basic member questions regarding checking and savings accounts, transaction inquiries, and balance requests.
• Capable of making quality loan referrals based on member requirements, leading to enhanced member involvement.
• Collects information, evaluates facts, and informs members about suitable products/services to achieve a singular resolution.
• Prepared to assist members and the team by being prompt, organized, and eager to provide a positive experience with a cheerful demeanor.
• Able to effectively convey information in both one-on-one and small group settings to members and fellow employees.
• Shows proficiency and understanding of technology, with the ability to swiftly learn and access products via virtual banking.
• Complies with and stays informed about all Member Care and credit union policies and procedures.
• Maintains regular communication with the leadership team.
• Participates in team, organizational, and community activities.
• Responsible for completing all mandatory training promptly while keeping up-to-date with all relevant compliance rules and regulations through assigned training.
• High school diploma or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Some college education is preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience or a combination of education and experience is required.
• Previous experience in customer service, banking, and/or call center roles is necessary.
• Must possess a solid understanding of the Bank Secrecy Act as well as other federal regulations, including but not limited to the U.S. Patriot Act, Office of Foreign Assets Control, Anti-Money Laundering regulations, Right to Financial Privacy Act, and the Bank Bribery Act.
• Bilingual candidates (English/Spanish) are preferred.
