Medical Writer, Market Access

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create high-quality, medically precise content in both print and digital formats for a diverse array of medical communication resources.

• Complete assigned projects within specified timelines.

• Perform literature reviews and craft annotations to substantiate promotional claims in promotional medical education and marketing materials.

• Engage professionally and collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Ensure that all work adheres to scientific standards, good publication practices, and company guidelines and policies.

• Collaborate closely with account teams to enhance content in line with strategic objectives.

• Convey medical content to internal teams and pharmaceutical clients effectively.

• Attend meetings for medical, legal, and regulatory reviews.

• Take part in project kick-off, weekly status updates, client discussions, brainstorming sessions, and review meetings.

• Offer suggestions for tactical planning within assigned accounts.

• Advocate for and maintain adherence to Precision Value and Health’s PRECISION Principles.

⛳️ Requirements

• BA/BS degree in life sciences.

• BA/BS degree in English in combination with 2 years of experience in a pharmaceutical agency, medical communications firm, or healthcare advertising.

• At least 1 year of medical writing experience within a pharmaceutical agency, medical communications company, or healthcare advertising.

• Familiarity with American Medical Association (AMA) style guidelines.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.

• Knowledge of scientific search engines such as PubMed and Google Scholar.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong analytical skills.

• Ability to prioritize projects with tight deadlines while managing competing client demands.

• Detail-oriented and team-focused.

• Candidates must have legal authorization to work in the country of employment without employer sponsorship.
