This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• SOAP Note Entry (Primary Duty): Transform patient notes into the appropriate SOAP note format within the PayDC EHR system, process and input notes in real time between patient consultations, ensure precise and prompt documentation to facilitate immediate billing, and maintain well-organized and accurate patient records.
• Insurance Verification: Confirm patient insurance eligibility and coverage details, keep insurance information current and accurate in the system, and process and review EOBs (Explanation of Benefits).
• Billing & Coding: Manage billing and claims once SOAP notes are finalized, utilize billing and coding expertise to guarantee accuracy and minimize claim issues, and work effectively with limited training and supervision.
• Prior Authorizations: Manage and submit prior authorization requests as necessary.
• General Front Desk & Administrative Support: Professionally handle inbound and outbound phone calls, assist with front desk and patient communication duties, send letters, forms, and documentation to patients and insurance providers, liaise with attorneys concerning patient-related documentation, and provide general administrative assistance as required.
• Strong foundation in medical billing and coding.
• Experience in SOAP note writing and medical documentation.
• Understanding of healthcare administrative workflows, including insurance verification, prior authorizations, and healthcare billing processes.
• Capability to accurately convert patient notes into the correct SOAP note format.
• Relevant experience in a healthcare or medical administrative position.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Comfortable managing inbound and outbound phone calls in a professional manner.
• Experience with chiropractic billing and documentation is an advantage.
• Familiarity with multiple EHR/EMR systems.
• Ability to swiftly adapt to new software platforms such as PayDC.
• Experience collaborating with international or U.S.-based companies.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and interested in long-term employment.
• Must be proficient in clear spoken and written English.
• Must possess relevant work experience.
• Must be able to provide an NBI clearance and/or Local Police Clearance background check prior to onboarding [mandatory].
• Must be available for video meetings with the camera on (when required).
• Device: A reliable laptop or desktop computer is necessary.
• Internet: High-speed connection (minimum 10 Mbps) is required.
• Audio: A noise-canceling headset is needed.
• Video: A webcam for virtual meetings is essential.
