This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Execute end-of-day pill calculations by examining PDMP records, confirming prescription fill history, and monitoring patient medication balances.
• Manage incoming nurse line calls, document patient interactions, respond to basic patient inquiries, and escalate clinical issues when necessary.
• Process prior authorizations for prescriptions and liaise with insurance companies regarding medication approvals.
• Assist with prescription preloading in the prescribing software.
• Support basic chart preparation by copying and updating notes from previous patient visits.
• Update and maintain patient records within the EHR system.
• Perform additional administrative and clerical support tasks as required.
• Help with patient follow-ups and facilitate daily office workflow management.
• Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to clinic procedures.
• Collaborate with providers and staff to assist in daily clinical operations.
• Required experience in healthcare, nursing, medical assisting, or other relevant clinical roles.
• Preferred background or experience in nursing.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare workflows is essential.
• Experience with EHR/EMR systems is required; knowledge of eClinicalWorks (ECW) is highly preferred.
• Previous experience in a medical practice, clinic, or healthcare environment is preferred.
• Must demonstrate proficiency in clear spoken and written English.
• Relevant work experience is a must.
• Ability to provide an NBI clearance and/or Local Police Clearance background check prior to onboarding is mandatory.
• Must be available for video meetings with the camera on when required.
