This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.
• Drive the nationwide adoption and integration of Thermo Fisher Scientific’s B·R·A·H·M·S biomarker assays through peer-to-peer scientific discussions that support the Medical Plan, particularly in the field of maternal fetal medicine.
• Provide education to both internal stakeholders and external clients on the disease states relevant to the biomarker portfolio, with a specific emphasis on prenatal screening.
• Serve as a consulting expert to assist customers in developing pathways and protocols that enhance clinical practices and patient management.
• Address off-label medical information inquiries with balanced scientific and technical information regarding assays and disease states.
• Function as the clinical expert on diseases and assays.
• Identify and profile Advisors, Key Opinion Leaders, and other influencers, fostering scientific relationships with them.
• Participate in scientific medical congresses and engage in scientific discussions during Medical Affairs conferences.
• Compile conference reports and generate medical communications following meetings.
• Create scientific and medical insights to guide medical and clinical strategy.
• Identify potential leading-researcher consultants and future research initiatives, and direct collaboration proposals to the internal review board.
• A graduate degree is mandatory.
• An advanced scientific degree (MSc, PhD, MD) is highly preferred.
• A minimum of 1–2 years’ experience in maternal fetal medicine is strongly preferred.
• A strong passion for enhancing patient care through clinical education, scientific collaboration, and professional networking.
• A self-motivated individual.
• Willingness to travel 3 to 4 days each week, including several overnight stays (2 to 3 nights per week).
• Excellent written and formal presentation communication abilities.
• Strong problem-solving and persuasive skills.
• Capability to present Thermo Fisher Scientific professionally to individuals and multidisciplinary groups.
• Proficient in scientific, creative, and strategic thinking.
• Ability to present and maintain a fair balance during scientific discussions and presentations.
• Strong skills in establishing and sustaining relationships with external thought leaders, including physicians, pharmacists, and allied healthcare professionals.
• Proficiency in the English language is required.
