This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the medical and scientific authority for Averitas products and associated disease states.
• Participate in peer-to-peer scientific discussions with Key External Experts (KEEs) and other healthcare professionals to enhance understanding of disease states and promote appropriate product use.
• Provide precise, balanced, and compliant medical information in response to unsolicited inquiries.
• Collect and share medical insights and emerging trends from the field with internal stakeholders to guide medical and business strategies.
• Work collaboratively across departments such as Medical Affairs, Commercial, Market Access, Training, and other internal teams while adhering to compliance regulations.
• Uphold Averitas' reputation by demonstrating the highest standards of scientific integrity, medical ethics, and patient-centric focus.
• Identify prospects for scientific collaboration that align with the company's medical goals.
• Create and deliver scientific education and training programs for both internal and external audiences.
• Support and facilitate scientific meetings, congress events, and educational projects.
• Provide insights and competitive intelligence regarding the therapeutic landscape, scientific data, and evolving standards of care.
• Stay informed about relevant clinical guidelines, publications, and scientific advancements.
• Aid in knowledge generation, scientific storytelling, and the dissemination of medical information to meet organizational objectives.
• Cultivate a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing culture that reflects Averitas values and behaviors.
• Exhibit adaptability, accountability, and a solutions-focused attitude in a fast-paced environment.
• Serve as a role model for teamwork, professionalism, and lifelong learning.
• PharmD, PhD, or MD degree.
• 2-4 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL), preferably in specialty disease areas.
• Previous experience with pain products and/or medical devices, specialty pharmaceuticals, or biologics product launches is preferred.
• Proven experience in launching new specialty pharmaceuticals or biologics products or indications.
• Experience working in a startup environment, demonstrating a strong sense of urgency and agility to meet the dynamic needs of the business, while thriving in a fast-paced setting.
• Clear understanding of industry trends and market insights, including the unique needs of various healthcare stakeholders such as KEEs and payers.
• Long-Term Incentive Plan (cash plan) amounting to 20% of base salary.
• Annual performance bonus target of 20% of base salary (contingent upon meeting plan requirements).
