This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Connect with cardiologists, endocrinologists, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders to provide education on clinical and scientific evidence aimed at enhancing the treatment landscape in line with strategic objectives.
• Provide education on RNAi technology, hypertriglyceridemia, familial chylomicronemia syndrome, and hypercholesterolemia.
• Gather and relay clinical and scientific insights to internal stakeholders.
• Attend and present at scientific congresses and meetings to remain informed about the latest advancements and trends in the cardiometabolic therapeutic field.
• Address unsolicited inquiries in accordance with MSL compliance standards.
• Assist in company-sponsored clinical trials through engagement with investigator sites.
• Facilitate speaker training as needed, ensuring that speakers are informed about evolving disease and product data.
• Support national, regional, and local scientific congresses, including engagement with Opinion Leaders (OL), session coverage, booth management, and company debriefs.
• Monitor and evaluate scientific publications, clinical trials, and the competitive landscape within the cardiometabolic therapeutic sector.
• Maintain expertise in clinical and scientific areas as well as a general understanding of industry business practices.
• Promote the MSL value proposition, exhibiting tact and professionalism while achieving results.
• Adhere to company policies in all actions.
• Create territory-specific OL and account plans, including OL profiles, pre-call planning, and follow-up strategies.
• Convey clinical and scientific information clearly and accurately.
• Record MSL quantitative and qualitative achievements.
• Offer scientific support for Med Info inquiries, ensuring accurate and prompt responses to healthcare professionals' questions.
• Develop scientific content for medical education programs.
• Assist Medical Affairs with special projects and initiatives as required.
• Effective cross-functional relationship management is essential for success.
• A PhD, PharmD, MD, or DO degree is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as an MSL.
• Experience in the cardiometabolic therapeutic area.
• Industry experience in Medical Affairs within a biotech or pharmaceutical company.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic setting.
• Strong understanding of the cardiometabolic therapeutic field.
• Capability to interpret key scientific data and translate findings to fulfill educational and research requirements that influence corporate research strategies and decisions.
• Proficiency in identifying unmet medical, educational, and research needs at local and regional levels within the medical community.
• Knowledge of the healthcare delivery system, including the managed care environment and its impact on patient care, regional medical services, and the pharmaceutical industry.
• Understanding of research study design and execution along with strategic implications.
• Proven ability to achieve results with high quality as a strategic and creative thinker.
• Demonstrates capacity to navigate ambiguity and excel in a constantly evolving environment.
• Strong project management skills with a proven track record of managing projects and/or colleagues for successful implementation of critical business projects.
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
• Willingness to travel.
