This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Build and sustain trustworthy, compliant scientific relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), dermatologists, plastic surgeons, injectors, and other aesthetic practitioners.
• Engage in objective and balanced scientific dialogues concerning clinical data, mechanisms of action, safety profiles, and real-world experiences with Hugel Aesthetics products.
• Identify emerging thought leaders and formulate engagement strategies that align with Medical Affairs objectives.
• Assist in medical education initiatives, advisory boards, and scientific programs.
• Address unsolicited medical information inquiries promptly and in compliance.
• Present clinical data and scientific findings at congresses, scientific meetings, and educational forums.
• Facilitate discussions around investigator-initiated research (IIR) and identify potential research sites when suitable.
• Deliver scientific and clinical training to internal teams as necessary.
• Gather, analyze, and communicate actionable medical insights from the field to guide Medical Affairs strategy.
• Recognize emerging trends in aesthetics, competitive advancements, and unmet clinical needs within the market.
• Provide scientific support to Commercial, Marketing, Clinical, and Regulatory teams while upholding strict compliance standards.
• Assist with product launches and lifecycle management initiatives.
• Ensure all activities conform to company policies, FDA regulations, and industry compliance standards.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Medical Science Liaison, ideally within aesthetics, dermatology, or related fields.
• An advanced scientific degree is required (MD, DO, PharmD, PhD, NP, or PA).
• Therapeutic expertise in dermatology, plastic surgery, aesthetic medicine, or injectables is strongly preferred.
• Experience with injecting neurotoxin and filler is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in establishing and maintaining relationships with Key Opinion Leaders.
• Strong knowledge of FDA regulations, compliance requirements, and appropriate scientific exchange practices.
• Experience in supporting product launches and educating on new products.
• Excellent scientific communication and presentation abilities.
• Strong strategic thinking skills and the capacity to translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• High emotional intelligence and the ability to build credibility with sophisticated clinicians.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-growing, dynamic organization.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50–70% within the assigned territory.
• Valid driver’s license and capacity to operate a motor vehicle.
