This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• You will establish and maintain sustainable scientific relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, diabetologists, diabetes centers, and professional societies on an equal footing.
• You will conduct scientific peer-to-peer dialogues regarding insulin pump therapy, AID systems, and the clinical evidence surrounding Kaleido.
• You will identify, evaluate, and support Investigator-Initiated Studies (IIS) and Real-World Evidence projects.
• You will translate complex clinical data into understandable, target-group-specific content for internal and external stakeholders.
• You will train and empower internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Customer Support) on medical-scientific content related to Kaleido and diabetes therapy.
• You will provide structured insight feedback from the market to Medical Affairs, R&D, and the international HQ, actively contributing to the further development of our solutions.
• You will collaborate closely with the Country Director Germany, the Commercial Team, and Medical Affairs HQ, while strictly maintaining medical-scientific independence.
• You will design and deliver scientific presentations at congresses, symposia, and educational events, as well as lead Advisory Boards with relevant KOLs from the diabetes community.
• Completed scientific or medical degree (Medicine, Pharmacy, Biology, Nutritional Sciences, Biochemistry, etc.), with a doctorate being an advantage.
• Several years of professional experience as a Medical Science Liaison or in a comparable Medical Affairs role, ideally within the fields of diabetology, endocrinology, or medical technology.
• Solid understanding of modern diabetes therapy: insulin pump therapy (CSII), CGM, AID systems, as well as current guidelines and study data.
• Experience in building and maintaining KOL networks and in supporting scientific projects (IIS, RWE, publications, Advisory Boards).
• Comprehensive knowledge of relevant regulatory and compliance requirements (FSA Code for Medical Devices, MDR, HWG, and possibly the Pharmaceutical Code).
• Strong scientific communication and presentation skills – at peer level with specialists and researchers.
• Structured, independent working style and a high willingness to travel within Germany and occasionally internationally.
• Negotiation-level English proficiency (reading, discussion, and presentation of scientific publications).
• Proficient use of digital tools, CRM, and medical information systems.
• Class B driver's license.
