This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
β’ Develop and uphold scientific knowledge for the credible dissemination of information to external experts and healthcare professionals.
β’ Engage in and monitor investigator-initiated studies, clinical trials, and medical initiatives.
β’ Offer scientific support and nurture relationships with external experts and academic institutions.
β’ Present scientific information to healthcare professionals, both individually and in group settings.
β’ Assist in the selection of qualified healthcare professionals for research, lectures, meeting support, advisory boards, congresses, and symposiums.
β’ Attend scientific meetings and conferences, summarizing key data presented.
β’ Coordinate scientific and medical engagement efforts across various stakeholders within accounts.
β’ Create interaction plans that align with the Scientific Interaction Plan to fulfill medical objectives.
β’ Incorporate stakeholder insights into in-field team engagement strategies.
β’ Collaborate and communicate with in-field team members to enhance business objectives.
β’ An advanced degree is required: PhD, PharmD, or M.D.
β’ Relevant business experience with a solid understanding of the biotech/pharmaceutical industry.
β’ Previous experience as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) is preferred.
β’ A background in Dermatology is considered advantageous.
β’ Prior experience in a customer-facing role within the healthcare industry.
β’ Experience in presenting and/or interpreting scientific or clinical research publications.
β’ Knowledge of scientific methodologies applied to clinical research and current legislative/regulatory frameworks.
β’ A strong interest in developing and maintaining expert knowledge of the designated therapeutic area, product, and medical research.
β’ Proficiency in the English language, both oral and written.
β’ Competence with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
β’ Comfort in utilizing technology and various tools/systems for daily tasks.
β’ Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time.
β’ A valid driverβs license and passport.
β’ Ability to comprehend stakeholder unmet needs, make impactful decisions, and integrate information into in-field team engagement strategies.
β’ Capability to coordinate scientific and medical engagement efforts across stakeholders within an account.
β’ Skill in developing interaction plans that align with the Scientific Interaction Plan.
β’ Understanding and execution of meaningful strategies and data-driven business decisions.
β’ Proficiency in effectively communicating, collaborating, and incorporating the perspectives of other in-field team members.
