This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with key academic and community research leaders, relevant healthcare practitioners, and access stakeholders within the designated area.
• Address scientific inquiries, unsolicited product questions, and HEOR-related topics through individual, group, and remote engagements.
• Deliver scientific and clinical information in an accurate and compliant manner to thought leaders and healthcare professionals.
• Evaluate the medical landscape and comprehend stakeholder requirements and expertise.
• Stay informed about treatment strategies, products, unmet medical needs, clinical trials, HEOR, and scientific developments.
• Observe the competitive landscape and changing healthcare models.
• Recognize opportunities for disease-state initiatives, collaborative research, and investigator-initiated studies.
• Participate in medical congresses and local/regional gatherings.
• Gather and relay significant medical insights to both medical and commercial entities.
• Create tailored Field Medical and thought-leader engagement plans specific to the geography.
• Contribute to institution/account strategies and scientifically relevant medical initiatives.
• Work in collaboration with cross-functional field teams.
• Assist in medical/scientific education and offer scientific updates to internal stakeholders.
• Provide scientific support during promotional meetings and congress events.
• Aid in both interventional and non-interventional research studies, including site selection and patient recruitment.
• Offer study feasibility assessments and insights to clinical development teams.
• Assist healthcare providers with investigator-sponsored research submissions, implementations, and follow-ups.
• Ensure that investigators comprehend and adhere to pharmacovigilance protocols and report any identified adverse events.
• Support CRO-sponsored studies as coordinated with home office medical and Global Development Operations.
• MD, PharmD, PhD, APP, PA, or NP with expertise in a specific disease area or a broad medical background coupled with relevant pharmaceutical experience.
• Familiarity with disease areas and comprehension of scientific literature.
• Understanding of a scientific or clinical domain, competitive landscape, and trends in patient treatment.
• Knowledge of clinical trial design and procedures.
• Awareness of the national healthcare and access landscape.
• Understanding of core HEOR concepts.
• Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
• At least 2 years of experience in a clinical and/or pharmaceutical setting.
• Previous experience as an MSL.
• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Skill in translating scientific or clinical data into clear and valuable insights.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities for engaging with research and healthcare professionals.
• Ability to establish peer-to-peer relationships with thought leaders, scientists, and healthcare practitioners.
• Capacity to swiftly and thoroughly acquire knowledge in new subject areas and environments.
• Demonstration of BMS values.
• Ability to operate a company-provided vehicle.
• Must be able to drive a BMS-provided vehicle across locations, often over considerable distances.
