This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa, +3 more states.
• Develop engagement strategies with field partners to enhance internal collaboration and derive field insights.
• Act as a reliable scientific partner to external experts, decision-makers, and various organizations.
• Deliver scientific presentations to healthcare providers regarding disease states and treatment options.
• Accurately and fairly communicate product benefits, risks, appropriate usage, and clinical value in a balanced manner.
• Understand the medical priorities of different countries and align medical strategies with business objectives.
• Collect and disseminate clinical insights related to patients, healthcare providers, and the overall healthcare ecosystem.
• Engage clinical investigators to support Sanofi’s pipeline and investigator-sponsored studies.
• Address unsolicited medical information inquiries.
• Establish and nurture peer-to-peer relationships with healthcare professionals and organizations.
• Leverage CRM data and insights to facilitate timely scientific engagement.
• Interact with key decision-makers and external experts in preparation for first-in-class/best-in-class product launches.
• Engage with scientific experts during medical conferences.
• Navigate the regional and local healthcare landscapes effectively.
• Collaborate with cross-functional matrix teams on various projects and territory/account plans.
• Document field interactions, insights, and knowledge assessments in the CRM system.
• Monitor personal and team objectives.
• Create and uphold medical account plans.
• Complete required training and certifications.
• Stay updated on advancements in science, technology, and regulations.
• Enhance Scientific Engagement skills while maintaining an individual development plan.
• An advanced degree in a relevant scientific or medical discipline (MD, PhD, PharmD, NP, MS, or an equivalent clinical advanced degree).
• Must reside within the designated territory.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a field medical or MSL role within the pharmaceutical sector, OR proven clinical experience in hemophilia or a related hematology therapeutic area.
• Previous MSL experience is preferred.
• Experience in hemophilia, hematology, or rare blood disorders is preferred.
• Prior experience collaborating with healthcare systems, payers, KOLs, and clinical investigators is preferred.
• Familiarity with CRM tools and digital engagement platforms is preferred.
• Knowledge of clinical research.
• Demonstrated scientific leadership.
• Experience in medical teaching.
• Understanding of healthcare policies and strategy.
• Knowledge of the biopharmaceutical industry.
• Skills in knowledge sharing and technology adaptation.
• Proficiency in stakeholder relationship management.
• Strong scientific communication abilities.
