
Medical Sales Representative – State and Local Government

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +1 more state.
• Engaging with the non-acute care government sector, which includes emergency management, EMS, medical examiner offices, correctional facilities, departments of health, and board of commissioners offices.
• Offering clinical and operational solutions to decision-makers at all levels, such as owners, senior clinical officers, and purchasing/procurement managers.
• Marketing products that encompass incontinence supplies, skin care items, durable medical equipment (DME), advanced wound care solutions, minor procedure kits, and gloves.
• Cultivating a comprehensive understanding of Medline's extensive product catalog along with various value-added programs and services.
• Establishing meaningful connections with new clients while enhancing relationships with current customers.
• Conducting cold calls and prospecting activities to generate new business opportunities.
• Showcasing new products and initiatives while educating clients on prevailing industry trends and regulations.
• Drafting bids and negotiating contracts.
• Taking initiative and leadership of your territory, treating it as your own business to foster growth.
• A Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of quota-driven sales experience, showcasing a background in cold calling, commissioned, full-cycle sales experience, OR a minimum of 5 years of similar sales experience.
• Proficiency in selling effectively at various levels within a customer organization.
• Demonstrated ability to identify, connect with, and secure new business, as well as build consensus.
• Experience with a complex sales strategy/approach to sell solutions across different tiers.
• Background in commissioned sales of tangible products.
• Proven history of sales growth and quota achievement.
• Capability to present multiple product lines effectively.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Consistent work history.
• Proficient in computer applications, particularly MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Given the nature of the outside sales representative role, the ability to drive, travel 80%, and engage with healthcare providers on-site is essential.
