This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Responsible for uploading records requests and patient authorization forms, which includes processing medical record requests and provider correspondence.
β’ Cultivating relationships with providers, patients, and internal teams (such as Care Navigation and Provider Success) to enhance medical records management.
β’ Assisting members with Mental Health Leaves & Accommodations (MHLA) requests by coordinating with providers and third parties as necessary.
β’ Providing weekly updates on new, ongoing, and completed medical records requests.
β’ Daily responsibilities encompass responding to emails, supporting both inbound and outbound phone calls, and assisting with patient support tickets as required.
β’ Adhering to HIPAA regulations while safeguarding the confidentiality of patient PHI.
β’ Ensuring a steady workflow by processing all requests within 24-48 hours of receipt for assigned medical records tickets.
β’ Monitoring incoming requests received through various channels and promptly reporting any suspicious medical records release requests.
β’ At least 1 year of experience in a similar capacity.
β’ In-depth knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations.
β’ Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
β’ Strong attention to detail, coupled with excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
β’ Proficient in Adobe Acrobat, Google Sheets, Google Docs, and MS Office.
β’ Adaptable in fast-paced environments with continuously changing responsibilities.
β’ Tech-savvy: adept at embracing new technologies and platforms, and efficient in tech-related tasks.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities.
β’ Capable of multitasking and switching contexts effectively.
β’ This position does not qualify for any non-statutory benefits.
