πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Responsible for uploading records requests and patient authorization forms, which includes processing medical record requests and provider correspondence.

β€’ Cultivating relationships with providers, patients, and internal teams (such as Care Navigation and Provider Success) to enhance medical records management.

β€’ Assisting members with Mental Health Leaves & Accommodations (MHLA) requests by coordinating with providers and third parties as necessary.

β€’ Providing weekly updates on new, ongoing, and completed medical records requests.

β€’ Daily responsibilities encompass responding to emails, supporting both inbound and outbound phone calls, and assisting with patient support tickets as required.

β€’ Adhering to HIPAA regulations while safeguarding the confidentiality of patient PHI.

β€’ Ensuring a steady workflow by processing all requests within 24-48 hours of receipt for assigned medical records tickets.

β€’ Monitoring incoming requests received through various channels and promptly reporting any suspicious medical records release requests.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ At least 1 year of experience in a similar capacity.

β€’ In-depth knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations.

β€’ Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

β€’ Strong attention to detail, coupled with excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

β€’ Proficient in Adobe Acrobat, Google Sheets, Google Docs, and MS Office.

β€’ Adaptable in fast-paced environments with continuously changing responsibilities.

β€’ Tech-savvy: adept at embracing new technologies and platforms, and efficient in tech-related tasks.

β€’ Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities.

β€’ Capable of multitasking and switching contexts effectively.
