This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +10 more states.
• Achieves coding productivity benchmarks set by the Coding Operations Director and Coding Manager.
• Guarantees the precise and thorough assignment of Evaluation and Management, CPT, and ICD-10 CM codes that are substantiated by medical record documentation from Outpatient Ancillary and Emergency Department encounters.
• May undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent along with completion of an AHIMA-approved coding or health information technology program.
• Experience: Minimum of one year of recent coding experience in an acute hospital setting.
• Certification: RHIA, CCS, CPC, or CPC-A certification required upon commencement.
