This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Examine and interpret intricate records to determine and accurately bill for services using the correct ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS codes.

• Assign and sequence billing codes in accordance with third-party payer requirements, seeking clarification when faced with conflicting or vague documentation, as needed.

• Participate in the review of coding-related denials from payers and provide recommendations to resolve claims in alignment with payer guidelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2+ years of professional medical coding experience for both inpatient and outpatient settings is required, including experience in multi-specialty practices.

• At least 2+ years of pertinent facility coding experience is essential, specifically in Clinics (mandatory), Lab/Radiology (mandatory), ED, OBS, SDS, and/or Inpatient (strong preference for injection/infusion experience).

• CPC, CCS, or CCS-P certification is required.

• Strong communication, analytical, and research skills, with a sharp attention to detail.
