
Medical Licensing Specialist β Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Oversee the initial licensing applications for RNs, NPs, MDs, and DOs across all 50 states, taking full responsibility for each application from submission to approval.
β’ Collaborate directly with healthcare providers to gather necessary documentation, including primary source verifications, CEU records, and background checks.
β’ Interact with state medical and nursing boards to address application concerns, respond to inquiries, and accelerate approvals whenever feasible.
β’ Keep up-to-date with state-specific licensing requirements, processing timelines, and regulatory updates.
β’ Utilize Verifiable to manage provider profiles, monitor license statuses, and create compliance reports for internal stakeholders.
β’ Ensure that all licensing information is correctly entered and maintained in the credentialing system of record.
β’ Proactively identify and escalate issues to avoid delays in provider readiness, while managing an active queue of over 60 licenses at any time.
β’ At least 2 years of experience in healthcare licensing, credentialing, or a related field.
β’ Practical experience in processing state licenses for RNs, NPs, MDs, and/or DOs.
β’ Knowledge of multi-state licensing requirements and the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC).
β’ Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to handle a high volume of simultaneous applications.
β’ Outstanding attention to detail and a consistent track record of following through on deadline-oriented tasks.
β’ Experience with Verifiable or similar credentialing platforms (preferred).
β’ Background in a telehealth, virtual care, or multi-state provider organization (preferred).
