Medical Imaging Field Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• You will be responsible for servicing imaging equipment within the Philadelphia, PA region.

• The position of Customer Service Engineer will be determined based on your prior experience.

• Your duties will include installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and conducting preventative maintenance on all Siemens Healthcare Medical Solution instruments at customer locations with minimal oversight.

• You will ensure timely and effective repairs while providing adequate training to operators, aiming for optimal system performance and high levels of customer satisfaction.

• You will oversee financial performance in your territory, striving to meet or exceed budget targets for revenue generation, expense management, and inventory control.

• You will be responsible for managing company assets, which include a company car, cell phone, computer, tools, and inventory parts.

• You will establish and maintain strong business relationships with customers and colleagues while accurately performing necessary administrative tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a high school diploma is required; a technical Associate's Degree or equivalent is preferred.

• At least 1 year of experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer (biomedical engineer) servicing diagnostic instruments is necessary.

• Proficiency in the use of tools and service testing equipment is required, along with the ability to work independently and as part of an established team.

• Familiarity with essential network applications and tools (including but not limited to eVO, mButler, MS Office applications, Concur, and the NAM Customer Service website—Engineer Tools) is essential.
