This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Provide service for AX/XP imaging equipment in the Palo Alto, CA region.
• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and conduct preventative maintenance on Siemens Healthcare systems at client locations.
• Ensure prompt and efficient repairs.
• Educate operators to guarantee optimal system functionality and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee financial performance within the territory, focusing on revenue generation, expense management, and inventory oversight.
• Handle company assets, including a company vehicle, cell phone, computer, tools, and inventory parts.
• Build and sustain professional relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Accurately perform administrative tasks.
• Operate independently with minimal supervision as well as within established team environments.
• A minimum of a high school diploma; a technical Associate's Degree or equivalent is preferred.
• 3 to 5+ years of experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer servicing diagnostic instruments.
• Expertise in servicing, conducting preventative maintenance, and modifying medical imaging equipment at customer sites.
• Experience in testing, repairing, and maintaining capital medical equipment.
• Proficiency with tools and service testing equipment.
• Familiarity with network applications and tools, including eVO, mButler, MS Office, Concur, and NAM Customer Service website—Engineer Tools.
• General knowledge of electricity, power supplies, and grounding.
• Background in electronics, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and instrument systems technology including mechanics, electrical, chemistry, and software.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• A valid driver's license in the state of residence, with the capacity to drive independently during day and night.
• Clean driving record; no past or ongoing DUI/DWI convictions or other serious moving violations unless legally prohibited.
• Capability to lift 50 lbs and perform activities such as walking, climbing ladders/step stools, bending, twisting, sitting, squatting, standing, high-reaching, and fine-grasping tasks.
• Good vision and the ability to work autonomously.
• Compliance with applicable client Vendor Credentialing requirements, which may involve identity verification, criminal background checks, drug testing, immunizations, annual TB testing, and healthcare training.
