This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia, +6 more countries.
β’ Independently provide all necessary medical support to ensure successful project execution in line with contractual agreements with sponsors, completing all assigned duties and deadlines.
β’ Engage actively in study planning alongside feasibility leaders and solution consultants.
β’ Attend team project meetings and investigator meetings.
β’ Deliver training to study teams on therapeutic area indications and protocols, while refraining from providing direct medical advice regarding patient care or management.
β’ Contribute to the creation and evaluation of study documents, including clinical protocols, Medical Monitoring Plans, integrated clinical and statistical summary reports, safety plans, and Informed Consent Forms.
β’ Execute medical monitoring activities in accordance with Medical Monitoring Plans throughout the study duration.
β’ Offer medical leadership for projects in close collaboration with the Project Leader, serving as either Global Lead Physician or Regional Lead Physician as designated.
β’ Contribute medical insights to pharmacovigilance processes and engage in safety processing, including medical assessments of serious adverse events.
β’ Assist business development initiatives by providing medical expertise.
β’ Offer medical insights to clients across various channels and interactions.
β’ Provide consultancy on protocol development and drug development initiatives.
β’ Conduct medical reviews of various documents that may be subject to audits by clients and regulatory authorities.
β’ Establish and maintain robust medical and consultative relationships with clients.
β’ Deliver expert guidance on early engagement and pre-award opportunities.
β’ Act as a medical monitor for contracted projects.
β’ Engage in strategic initiatives, mentor junior physicians, and manage a team of medical professionals where applicable.
β’ Medical degree from a recognized medical institution.
β’ At least 5+ years of experience in clinical medicine and practice.
β’ Qualified as a Psychiatrist or Neurologist, with current knowledge and expertise.
β’ Experience in a medical monitoring role, preferably from another CRO.
β’ Familiarity with clinical aspects of drug development, including medical monitoring and study design/execution.
β’ Understanding of the drug development process, particularly drug safety.
β’ Background in Pharmaceutical Medicine.
β’ Experience in leading, mentoring, and managing teams or individuals.
β’ Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
