Medical Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate clinical cases to assess the medical necessity of services for Medicare and Medicaid members.

• Ensure adherence to review policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

• Implement clinical guidelines, CMS policies, and requirements for Medicare, Medicare Advantage, and Medicaid.

• Recognize opportunities for enhancing medical management operations.

• Participate in call rotations, which include weekend and after-hours coverage.

• Foster a collaborative team culture that promotes organizational excellence.

• Provide outstanding consumer experiences.

• Engage in educational initiatives by attending mandatory conferences and creating content for individual subject matter presentation.

• Assist with Home Solutions and other tasks assigned by OneHome leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• MD or DO degree.

• Current, active, and ongoing board certification from the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) or the American Osteopathic Association Bureau of Osteopathic Specialties (AOABPS). National Board of Physicians & Surgeons (NBPAS) certification is not acceptable.

• Current and unrestricted medical license in at least one state, with a willingness to obtain additional medical licenses as required for the assigned region.

• No sanctions imposed by Federal or State Governmental organizations.

• A minimum of 5 years of direct clinical patient care experience following residency or fellowship.

• Ability to meet credentialing requirements.

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Internet navigation.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of analyzing information and interpreting data clearly and accurately.

• Flexible and eager to learn new technologies to improve workflow efficiency.
