This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

• Oversee the credentialing and re-credentialing processes for physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals.

• Confirm licenses, certifications, education, training, and work history to ensure that providers are fully qualified.

• Keep accurate and comprehensive credentialing files, ensuring all staff are authorized before delivering care.

• Remain informed about federal, state, and accreditation requirements (CMS, Joint Commission, NCQA, etc.).

• Monitor expiration dates for licenses, certifications, and accreditations to guarantee smooth renewals.

• Protect provider and facility compliance with healthcare laws and standards at all times.

• Maintain current credentialing databases and systems.

• Generate reports for leadership and regulatory bodies.

• Ensure confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA and other privacy regulations.

• Act as the primary contact for providers, accreditation organizations, and external vendors.

• Collaborate with HR, Medical Staff Services, and leadership to keep credentialing processes on schedule.

• Offer updates and proactive recommendations regarding credentialing status and timelines.

• High School Diploma or GED is required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

• 2–3 years of experience in credentialing, healthcare administration, or a related field.

• Experience in medical staff services, healthcare compliance, or insurance credentialing is advantageous.

• Strong understanding of credentialing processes and healthcare compliance.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail—you ensure nothing is overlooked.

• Proficient in using credentialing databases and related software.

• Exceptional communication skills—clear, professional, and collaborative.

• Capable of managing multiple priorities while adhering to deadlines.
