This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Engage with veterinary clients via phone during standard working hours regarding the selection of diagnostic tests, interpretation of laboratory results, and management of medical cases.

• Discuss IDEXX's diagnostic services, covering test availability, specimen requirements, clinical utility, and result interpretation.

• Assist veterinary practitioners in choosing diagnostic tests, interpreting laboratory results, and managing cases, including exploring treatment options.

• Enhance and expand medical knowledge through self-directed study, attendance at scientific meetings, internal continuing education, and literature reviews.

• Draft articles for newsletters, updates on laboratory diagnostics or services, and other marketing, sales, or promotional content as needed.

• Participate in IDEXX's educational and organizational meetings as required.

• Work collaboratively with Customer Support, commercial, and laboratory teams to provide accurate, practical, and clinically relevant diagnostic solutions.

• Offer expert telephone consultations to veterinary surgeons in practice.

⛳️ Requirements

• A veterinary degree with the right to practice.

• Extensive hands-on experience in Small Animal Internal Medicine.

• Board certification in Internal Medicine (ECVIM or ACVIM) is preferred, or substantial practical experience as a veterinarian with a strong clinical focus in Small Animal Internal Medicine.

• Proficiency in a local market language, such as Polish or Czech, along with strong conversational English skills.

• Additional proficiency in German is highly desirable.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and clinical reasoning abilities.

• Pragmatic thinking and a readiness to step outside of your comfort zone.

• Ability to work from a home office and occasional travel is required.
