📋 Description

• Accountable for managing payment collection efforts

• Engaging in collection activities for appealed claims

• Continuously pursuing collection activities on appeals

• Requesting further information from patients and other relevant parties

• Liaising with insurance providers

• Analyzing contracts to identify billing or coding discrepancies

⛳️ Requirements

• Comprehensive understanding of the revenue cycle process

• In-depth knowledge of Managed Care collections

• Familiarity with terminology such as MMC, HMO, PPO, IPA, and Capitation

• Awareness of Managed Care contracts

• Intermediate knowledge of hospital billing form requirements

• Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma, technical training, and/or relevant experience
