Medical Biller, Coder

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Accurately process and submit medical claims within designated timeframes

• Assign the correct ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes

• Evaluate documentation to ensure coding compliance

• Follow up on claims that have been denied or remain unpaid as necessary

• Engage in communication with providers, payers, or clients when required

• Uphold HIPAA compliance and maintain data security standards

• Proven experience in medical billing, coding, or claims processing

• Knowledge of EHR or billing software

• Exceptional attention to detail and precision

• Basic comprehension of insurance guidelines and terminology

• Certifications such as CPC or CBCS are advantageous
