This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee daily operations, coaching, and performance management for a team of CMAs/CCMAs.

• Assess workload distribution and guarantee timely fulfillment of administrative and care coordination duties.

• Act as a point of escalation for intricate patient, provider, or interdisciplinary team matters.

• Collaborate with the Shared Services Manager to synchronize staffing, processes, and priorities.

• Ensure team adherence to EMR/Vynca documentation standards and healthcare regulations.

• Conduct onboarding and continuous training for both new and existing team members.

• Monitor team metrics (e.g., call volume, turnaround times, authorization processing) and pinpoint improvement opportunities.

• Organize regular team meetings to maintain alignment with interdisciplinary care objectives.

• Assist with hiring, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions when necessary.

• Serve as a connection between the administrative support team and clinical/interdisciplinary staff.


⛳️ Requirements

• Valid CMA/CCMA certificate from a recognized certifying organization.

• A minimum of 2 years of prior clinical or healthcare administrative experience in a supervisory role.

• At least 1 year of experience in insurance and billing.

• Proven experience in managing or mentoring a remote or distributed team.

• Availability to work Monday–Friday, 8:30 am–5:00 pm Pacific Time, with occasional overtime as required.

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills, capable of coaching and providing constructive feedback.

• Strong organizational and prioritization abilities, with the capability to handle competing demands within a team.

• Proficient in EMR systems, video conferencing tools, and general computer/internet navigation.

• Ability to maintain composure and a solutions-oriented approach in complex or high-pressure scenarios.

• Strong collaborative mindset, able to work effectively across clinical and administrative functions.
